The St. Louis Cardinals are set to begin another six-game home stand on Friday. The Redbirds will start with a three-game series in their division against the Milwaukee Brewers.
St. Louis is currently fifth in the National League Central with a record of 9-10. The Cardinals were in interleague play earlier this week as they took two out of three at Oakland.
Milwaukee is at the top of the Central Division standings with amark of 11-6, a half game ahead of the Chicago Cubs. The Brewers narrowly avoided getting swept this week by San Diego.
Kyle Gibson will start for St. Louis, and Milwaukee will go with Freddy Peralta. The first pitch at Busch Stadium is scheduled for 7:15. Friday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The broadcast begins at 6:20 with Ameren Total Access.
