Ozarka College has launched the Ozarka Opportunity, a new initiative providing incoming students from the area with a debt-free pathway to a degree. The program launches in the fall and will be available as an opt-in scholarship for incoming students who graduated from a high school in Fulton, Izard, Sharp or Stone County.
Dr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka College president, says, “We are proud to offer this transformational scholarship program to our students. Ozarka continues to find ways to eliminate financial barriers and increase our students’ capacity to succeed. Through education, we empower individuals in our region, and the Ozarka Opportunity is another investment in our students and local communities.”
The Ozarka Opportunity is made possible through a prioritization of scholarship aid and a partnership with the Ozarka College Foundation. The program will help students maximize available resources at the state and federal levels.
