Two area high schools sent their track teams to Harrison on Monday for the 1A-1 East Conference Meet on Monday. Both team titles were swept by Kingston.
On the boys’ side, Omaha finished second, and Lead Hill was third. Individually for the Tigers, Coda Lemon won the 100-meter and 400-meter dashes, and Hunter Ricketts won the 200-meter dash. For the Eagles, Trey Searle won the long jump and the triple jump, and Jonathan McKinney won the pole vault. Omaha’s team of Briar Whitehurst, Dylan Greenwood, McKinney and Searle won the 4×100-meter relay.
In the girls’ results, Omaha took second place, and Lead Hill ended up tied for third. The Lady Eagles had wins from Remington Crouch in the high jump, the 100-meter hurdles and the 200-meter dash and Maddie Pyshny in the pole vault.
