Boil water order issued for Lakeview Midway Public Water Authority along River Road

A boil water order has been issued for some customers in the Lakeview Midway Public Water Authority.

According to the Arkansas Department of Health, a boil water order was issued for residents on River Road, roads adjacent to River Road and the Bull Shoals White River State Park as a precautionary measure due to a loss in normal system pressure from maintenance-related work. No other Lakeview Midway PWA customers have been affected.

All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
