Registration has begun for pet owners and their furry companions to join together for a good cause. The inaugural 2.5K and 5K Dawg Jog will be held on May 11 from 10 until 12 on the grounds of Arkansas State University Mountain Home (ASUMH). Proceeds will benefit Lucky Dawg Rescue Inc., a local nonprofit dog foster rescue in Mountain Home who finds homes for unwanted dogs with rehoming services around the country.
The run will be cohosted by Lucky Dawg Rescue and C12 Athletics. Patty Markowski, director of the rescue says it was the collaboration with C12’s Owner, Nick Coleman that made it all possible.
