The Arkansas High School Weightlifting Championships were held during the weekend at Wolf Stadium on the campus of Lake Hamilton High School in Pearcy, and two Mountain Home athletes had a good showing.
Chris Hubbard finished third in the 182-to-198-pound division. Hubbard ended up with a two-rep total of 570 pounds.
Eli Jones was tied for third in the 221-to-242-pound division. Jones was able to lift a total of 580 pounds.
