Arvest Bank is has announced they are now accepting nominations for the 2024 “Charity of the Year.” Honorees selected will benefit from the bank’s 28th Annual Charity Golf Tournament scheduled to be held August 24 at Big Creek Golf and County Club in Mountain Home.
Each year, Arvest associates choose three local charities, one from Baxter, Boone and Marion counties, to receive proceeds from the golf tournament. Last year, the tournament raised $18,000 for local non-profits.
Deadline for submissions is May 31 and charities must be a designated 501(c)(3) organization.
To submit a charity for consideration, nomination letters can be mailed to Arvest Bank Charity Committee, Attention: Spree Ragland, P.O. Box 325, Yellville, AR 72687 or emailed to sragland@arvest.com.
