The season came to an end Tuesday for the Forsyth High School softball team in the Class 2 State Tournament. The Lady Panthers were one and done as they fell to Diamond 11-1 in the quarterfinals. Forsyth’s final record is 17-16.
Hollister’s baseball team was eliminated from the Class 4, District 10 Tournament at Logan-Rogersville High School. The Tigers suffered a 12-1 loss to the host and top-seeded Wildcats. Hollister’s season ends at 8-16.
