Thursday marks the start of the Arkansas Activities Association’s final state championship week of the 2023-2024 school year on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
Two baseball games will be played at Bear Stadium. Greers Ferry West Side meets Taylor for the Class 1A title at 10, and Prairie Grove faces Joe T. Robinson in the Class 4A championship game at 4.
The first two softball games will be held at Farris Field. The Class 1A game between Scranton and Taylor gets underway at 1, and Beebe will be paired with Sheridan for the Class 5A title at 7.
All of this week’s baseball and softball games will be televised by Arkansas PBS.
