The Mountain Home Public Schools Board of Education will meet in regular session Thursday night at 6 in the Central Office Board Room.
Before action items, awards and presentations will be given for the Richard Padget Extra Mile award, Teacher of the Year award, Outdoor Adventure Educator of the Year, State Championship Boys Track Team and District Librarians.
A second reading will be heard for the 2024-25 handbooks and procedures.
In Board Action items, they will hear a request to purchase supplemental school supplies for the 2024-25 school year in the amount of $98,758; budget adjustments for the 2023-24 school year for state and federal funds; approval of the 2024-25 Federal Programs Assurances and GEPA Statement; approval of a memorandum of understanding with the Arkansas River Educational Cooperative for the 2024-25 Bomber Virtual Academy; request to renew Canvas Learning System for the 2024-25 school year; a request to approve annual updates to district policy and procedures for the Board, Certified and Classified staff; and a request to purchase 650 Chromebooks for the 2024-25 school year in the amount of $178,000.
The Board will also hear from a constituent following regular business.
