The National Weather Service (NWS) has decreased the chance of severe weather in the Twin Lakes area for Wednesday. According to a release from the NWS today’s risk assessment is now in the slight category with the primary threats expected to be large hail and damaging winds, with some tornadoes also possible. Timing for storms Wednesday will impact North Central Arkansas in the mid afternoon through evening hours.
NWS meteorologist Justin Condrey says storm and rain chances will continue into the holiday weekend.
