The National Weather Service (NWS) has decreased the chance of severe weather in the Twin Lakes area for Wednesday. According to a release from the NWS, today’s risk assessment is now in the slight category with the primary threats expected to be large hail and damaging winds, with some tornadoes also possible. Timing for storms Wednesday will impact North Central Arkansas in the mid afternoon through evening hours.
NWS meteorologist Erik Green says we can expect more potential severe weather this weekend with Sunday having the highest probability for more prolific severe weather.
