Mayfield says this is only for trees and limbs and not for any construction materials. They will continue this process for the rest of this week.

Monday is the normal trash day in Salesville, but the trash truck had trouble running the route, so a dumpster is being set up at city hall for residents to put their trash in. Mayor Mayfield says company is going to make another pass through the city Tuesday to try to get any trash they missed.

Mayfield says the Mountain Home Lions Club is taking some personal hygiene items to the Norfork City Hall and the Salesville Fire Chief will be picking some items up and bringing them back to the Salesville Community Center for distribution.

The mayor says power has been restored to part of Salesville, but a large part of the city is still without electricity.

The phone lines at city hall are still down, so anyone who needs to reach the Salesville City Hall can call Mayor Mayfield at 870-421-6260.
