North Arkansas Electric Cooperative (NAEC) has been successful in restoring power to many members through efforts Monday but says it could be days for some members to see restoration of service. NAEC is reporting almost 300 poles remain broken Tuesday morning and the Coop has not seen this level of damage since the 2009 ice storm.
NAEC CEO Mel Coleman spoke with KTLO’s Sammy Raycraft Tuesday morning and says that over 100 additional lineman are now in the area to offer assistance. He says the level of devastation in some areas is making progress move slowly.
