In support of storm damage recovery in the Twin Lakes Area, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is rescheduling a single lane closure of Arkansas Highway 177 across Norfork Dam from 7 Wednesday morning to 7 Monday morning. The road will still be closed through late January for the scheduled routine maintenance.
According to the Corps, traffic lights will be present to assist with the flow of traffic, but motorists should plan for additional travel time. The closure is being coordinated with emergency services and law enforcement agencies. The duration of the closure may vary depending upon weather or site conditions.
