Mountain Home Mayor Hillrey Adams along with Principal Broker and Owner of ERA Doty Real Estate, Steve Doty, are teaming up with others across the area Saturday to cook and deliver meals to people affected by last Sunday’s storms as well as the hardworking lineman in the area. The plan is to deliver 1600 pork sandwiches along with water and chips across the area once the food is prepared at ERA Doty Real Estate early Saturday morning.
Mayor Adams and Doty stopped by KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot Friday morning and they say this was inspired by their combined experience together during the Jonesboro tornadoes.

Doty says the lineman put in long days restoring utilities and getting them a good meal is a simple gesture to show appreciation.

After the food is prepared Saturday morning, teams will head out beginning around Hand Cove and give out food all day around the area.
