The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team came up just short in its opener in the Katzer Tournament at Fort Smith. The Lockeroom was edged out by the host team 7-6 on Friday.
Cash Earnhardt led Mountain Home with three hits and two RBIs, Jason Corp provided two hits and drove in two runs, Lincoln Sherry went 2-for-4 at the plate, and Ike Barrow added two hits and one RBI.
The Lockeroom falls to 1-1 on the season, and they’ll wrap up pool play on Saturday. Mountain Home meets Bryant at noon and Bartlesville, Okla., at 5.
