The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team had mixed results on Saturday as they wrapped up pool play in the Katzer Tournament at Fort Smith.
The Lockeroom needed 10 innings in their first game but they were able to get past Bryant 5-4. Nate Henderson was credited with the win in relief. Cash Earnhardt was the starting pitcher for Mountain Home and went seven innings.
The Lockeroom was not as fortunate in their late game as Bartlesville, Okla., scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning for the 6-5 victory. Henderson was 3-for-4 at the plate with three RBIs.
Mountain Home is now 2-2 on the season, and they’ll play Elk City, Okla., Sunday morning at 10.
