
Baxter Health has announce the recent addition of Internal Medicine Specialist Christopher Cochran, MD, to the Baxter Health Cochran Internal Medicine Clinic in Mammoth Spring.
Dr. Cochran, a native of Mammoth Spring, brings over 26 years of medical experience and expertise to Baxter Health. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Lyon College in Batesville and graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas School of Medicine in Little Rock. Furthering his medical education, Dr. Cochran completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Medical School.
In addition to providing care in the clinic, Dr. Cochran has a special interest in gastrointestinal (GI) procedures, including EGDs and colonoscopies, which he performs at Fulton County Hospital. Dr. Cochran has expressed his excitement about returning to Mammoth Spring, stating, “I am thrilled to be back home and to be a part of Baxter Health. It feels great to serve the community where I grew up and to contribute to the health and well-being of my neighbors and friends.”
Beyond his professional life, Dr. Cochran is dedicated to his family, having been married to his wife since 1998 and raising two grown daughters. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys gardening, hunting, and fishing in his free time.
