A woman has been arrested for covering the car belonging to the girlfriend of her ex-boyfriend with used diapers and making threats towards both of them. Two charges have been filed against 31-year-old Melissa Annmarie Santana of Harrison for the incidents.
According to the probable cause affidavit from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the victim reported she and her boyfriend had returned home to find her car covered with used diapers. One of the side mirrors had been torn off, the rear window wiper arm was torn off and the car had scratches in the paint on all sides.
The victim had three estimates done to have the damages repaired with the cheapest being over $5,650.
The victims also showed the deputy threatening messages Santana had sent them. In one she says “I swear if that (expletive) touches anything of ours, I will slice her tires. I hope you like trash and dirty diapers…there’s a gallon of milk in the tank. Love you babe.” In another message Santana says “…why don’t you bring her by the dealership so I can shoot you both.”
Santana is facing a felony count of criminal mischief in the first degree and a misdemeanor count of terroristic threatening in the second degree. She is free on $5,000 bond.
