The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team began the College of the Ozarks Summer Showcase by winning their first two games Thursday at Forsyth.
The Lockeroom began the evening by topping Neosho, Mo., 5-3. Isaiah Wood picked up the win on the mound. Jett Hannaford belted a home run for Mountain Home.
The Lockeroom remained on Collier Field for the next game and defeated Forsyth 7-2. Maddex Chism was the winning pitcher, and Nate Henderson provided a homer.
Mountain Home improves to 4-3 on the season.
