During their party convention over the weekend, Arkansas Republicans voted to pass a rule change that will require anyone casting a ballot in a party primary to be a registered Republican.

Report records show that while more than 266,000 voters cast ballots in the GOP presidential primary this spring, only around 132,000 are registered as Republican.

Those looking to check their voter registration status can do so by visiting the Arkansas Secretary of State website.
