Attorney General Tim Griffin announced on Thursday his office’s lawsuit with Meta will proceed.
The ruling came from a circuit court decision which allowed parts of Griffin’s lawsuit against the social media giant to move forward. This decision comes after Griffin sued Meta last year accusing the company of violating the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
Griffin indicated he believed that Meta misled the public about the platform’s safety and addictiveness.
