On July 12, several local businesses will be partnering with food suppliers to sponsor a fundraiser to benefit tornado victims in Baxter County.
Food suppliers Ben E. Keith, Springfield Grocery Company, Townsend Spice and Supply, Performance Food Group and Old Hickory Pits will partner with Little B’s Grill, Rio Burrito, Rapp’s Barren Brewing Company, ERA Doty Real Estate and Colton’s Steakhouse to serve smoked chicken plates for lunch and along with a dinner and live auction.

Adams says they will work with the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas along with representatives from FEMA to make sure the funds get to the right people.

The first event will be held from 11 until 1 at ERA Doty Real Estate, located at 1357 SW Hwy 62B. Smoked chicken lunch plates will be available for pickup or delivery, that include a half chicken, baked potato, ear of corn and a roll. Tickets are $25 each.
The second event will later that evening at 6 at the Baxter County Fair Grounds. This event will consist of a dinner and live auction. Dinner will include pork steak, roasted potatoes, salad, dessert and a beverage. Brandon Barnes will be auctioning off donated items. Tickets are $25 each.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at Rapp’s Barren Brewing Company, Little B’s Grill, Rio Burrito, the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce and ERA Doty Real Estate. One hundred percent of all proceeds from the events will benefit victims of the May 26th tornado in Baxter County.
