An area disaster recovery center is set to reopen after being temporarily closed this week. Fulton County’s center at the courthouse in Salem will be available for Arkansans affected by last month’s tornadoes beginning Saturday.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency had announced the center’s closure Tuesday due to technical issues. It will again be available for residents to walk in Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 to 4 each day.

Baxter County’s disaster recovery center also remains operational with the same days and hours at the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas on Highland Circle in Mountain Home. The center at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Summit remains closed.
