An area woman was killed when her pickup truck overturned Wednesday morning in Douglas County. Fifty-five-year-old Linda Walker of Ava was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Walker was traveling on Missouri Route N. She was nearly seven miles east of Squires when her vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned. Walker was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
Walker’s truck was totaled in the 7:28 a.m. accident.
