The St. Louis Cardinals will remain home for their final series before the upcoming All-Star break. The Redbirds will welcome in the Chicago Cubs Friday to begin a four-game set.

St. Louis is in second place in the National League Central and currently holds the league’s second Wild Card position with a record of 48-44. The Cardinals, who trail Milwaukee by five games, suffered a setback on Wednesday when they were swept in a doubleheader by Kansas City.

Chicago is in fourth place in the division as they are nine games behind the Brewers with a mark of 45-49. The Cubs pulled off a three-game sweep over Baltimore this week and go into the weekend with a four-game winning streak.

Sonny Gray will be on the mound for St. Louis, and the Cubs will go with Kyle Hendricks. The first pitch at Busch Stadium is scheduled for 7:15. Friday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The broadcast begins at 6:20 with Ameren Total Access.
