The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) has named Baxter Health as one of 2023’s Emergency Quality Network (E-QUAL) Honor Roll awardees.The award recognizes Baxter Health for notable achievement in emergency stroke care. In stroke care, emergency physicians are routinely responsible for key components of initial assessment, diagnosis, treatment and critical resource decisions for patients with a possible stroke. E-QUAL Honor Roll awardees for stroke care are recognized for arrival to computed tomography (CT) scan time for hemorrhagic or ischemic stroke patients and door-to-needle time for ischemic stroke patients.
