Cotter City Council to consider resolution for referendum on Sunday alcohol sales Thursday night

The Cotter City Council will meet in regular session Thursday night at 6 in the Cotter City Hall Council Chamber.

Items on the agenda include:

– consideration to filling vacancy for Ward 1, Position 2. Joe Bass has asked to be considered for the position;

– a presentation from Jason Nazarenko for a petition to be on the November 5th ballot to adjust the city’s rules on alcoholic beverages for off-premises sales on Sunday;

– a resolution calling for a referendum on the November ballot to authorize the sale of alcohol on Sunday;

– an ordinance establishing tapping fees for water meters and sewer taps;

– an ordinance establishing accounts and deposits for new water service;

– an ordinance to establish procedures for electronic transfer of funds for payments and receivables;

– an ordinance to prohibiting the use of shipping containers and semi-truck for storage; and

– an ordinance to establish construction permit application and fees.
