Baxter County FEMA Recovery Center to close Tuesday

On Tuesday, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Recovery Center in Baxter County at the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas (FBNCA) will close permanently.

According to a press release, the center at the FBNCA will close permanently at the end of the day Tuesday. Those who still need assistance can visit the center in Benton County at its new location at Northwest Arkansas Community College’s Shewmaker Center for Workforce Technologies located at 1000 SE Eagle Way, Room B103 in Bentonville.

FEMA’s helpline will still be available for Arkansans to register and get questions answered by calling 800-621-3362. The helpline is open everyday from 6 until 11 central time and assistance is available in most languages.
