U.S. House approves unveiling of statue recognizing Johnny Cash

In the U.S. House, the representatives approved a resolution on Tuesday authorizing the use of of Emancipation Hall and the Capitol Visitor Center for the unveiling of a statue recognizing Arkansas icon and country music legend Johnny Cash. The date for the unveiling is tentatively set for Sept. 24. The Senate will need to concur with the resolution to finalize the timing.
