Baxter Health adds Dr. Hannah McCarthy to medical staff

Baxter Health recently announced the addition of Hannah McCarthy, MD, to the medical staff. Dr. McCarthy is a family medicine physician in private practice at Regional Family Medicine’s East Branch Clinic.

Dr. McCarthy earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas. She completed her family medicine residency at CoxHealth in Springfield, Mo. and most recently served as a hospitalist in Siloam Springs. Dr. McCarthy also previously worked as a Clinical Allergy Specialist with United Allergy Services in Mountain Home and as a Research Assistant in the Biology Department at the University of Central Arkansas.

Dr. George Lawrence, a Regional Family Medicine physician and Chief Medical Officer at Baxter Health, says “We are very happy to welcome Dr. McCarthy to Regional Family Medicine. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in family medicine, and we are very fortunate to have her join our team.”

Outside of caring for her patients, Dr. McCarthy enjoys spending time with her loved ones, traveling, reading and attending football games. She is married to her high-school sweetheart, Chaseton, the head football coach of Yellville-Summit. They also have a five-year-old son, Brooks, who is the joy of their lives.
