Baxter Health recently announced the addition of Mountain Home native Alex Kilgore, MD, to the medical staff. Dr. Kilgore is an ophthalmologist in private practice at Kilgore Vision Center.
Dr. Kilgore recently completed his ophthalmology residency from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he also earned his Doctor of Medicine. Before his residency, he completed a transitional year internship at Unity Health in Searcy. He also received an Associate of Arts from ASU-Mountain Home, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas.

Outside of seeing his patients, Dr. Kilgore enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his wife Whitney and their daughters Stella and Remi.
