The Howell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of skeletal remains.
According to a report from KYTV, deputies responded to an undisclosed location where they found the remains on August 10. Because of inclement weather, investigators waited a few days to clear the scene.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol lab will conduct an autopsy to identify the remains. Investigators say it could take some time.
