Calico Rock residents should expect water rate increases come Jan. 1

As with many small towns across Arkansas, the Calico Rock City Council have made efforts to keep water rates as low as possible for consumers.According to a press release from Calico Rock officials, new mandated water rates are expected to increase as of January 1.

The Arkansas Legislature is requiring all municipal water systems in the state to increase their rates. The rate study for Calico Rock is expected to be released October 1.
