The Craighead County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Bono house fire that left two people dead last Sunday.

Captain Jason Allen said Monday that 66-year-old Peter Keyes and 60-year-old Tammy Robinson were the victims from the house fire in the northeastern Arkansas community.

According to officials, the Bono Fire Department arrived at the scene around 6 P.M. to find a male juvenile victim escaping the building. The male juvenile reported that both his parents were still inside the home.

Crews extinguished the flames and found the bodies of Keyes and Robinson inside.

Foul play is not suspected authorities say the fire appeared accidental and might have been caused by debris the victims had collected from around the home and had burned.
