Rural Gassville man accused of striking male, claims victim is involved in organized crime

A rural Gassville man is accused of striking a male he claimed is involved in organized crime. Thirty-five-year-old Randal Billingsley is facing a felony count of second-degree domestic battery.

According to an incident report, a Baxter County investigator responded Tuesday to a 911 call of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Wildcat Shoals Road. A female alleged Billingsley came into the residence, started damaging its interior and began striking her husband. The male victim was reportedly thrown to the floor of the residence after being struck multiple times by Billingsley. The victim had a small cut or abrasion near his right elbow.

Billingsley stated he has had an ongoing issue with the male. He alleges the victim is involved in organized crime. Billingsley was transported to and booked into the Baxter County Detention Center.

Billingsley is currently free on a bond of $5,000.
