On October 1, the Baxter County Extension Office will host a voter education event on the 2024 statewide ballot issues. The event will be held on the second floor of the Baxter County Courthouse immediately following the Quorum Court’s October meeting, which typically lasts an hour.
Director of the U of A Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Public Policy Center, Stacey McCullough, will discuss the issues on the November ballot and explain what a “For” and “Against” vote means. McCullough will also discuss what the proponents and opponents have to say about each issue.
Voter guides will be available at the Baxter County Extension Office, Courthouse, Library and various other locations around the county in early October.
