While the remnants of Hurricane Francine did bring rain to portions of the Twin Lakes Area, some portions of north central Arkansas are currently under an increased wildfire danger. According to the Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Forestry Division, Boone and Newton counties are considered to be under moderate danger.

The danger for Baxter, Marion, Fulton, Izard, Searcy and Stone counties remains low following the recent precipitation. Currently, no counties in Arkansas are under a burn ban.
