Mountain Home’s cross country teams battled local teams on their home turf in the Bomber Open Thursday.
In the boys 2500 meter Mountain Home took first place as a team and Wave Simmons took first place for the Bombers with a time of 8:30.12. Oakley Recktenwald took second place with a time of 8:32.06.
In the 5000 meter race the boys team took first place with Jackson Free and Connor King taking first and second in the race.
The Harrison Goblins took first place in the girls 2400 meter with Mountain Home in second. Brook Bertalotto took second place in the junior high race with a time of 10:27.26.
Mountain Home girls took first place overall in the 5000 meter race with Lucy Koehn in first with 21:57.41, Camilla Johnson in second with 22:26.81, Cisily Goettler with 22:42.61.
