Auto Services Company receives Hunger Alliance’s Acting Out Against Hunger Award

As a part of the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance 2024 Hunger Action Month breakfast held Thursday in Little Rock, Auto Services Company was recognized with the Alliance’s Acting Out Against Hunger Award. This distinguished award is given each year to individuals, businesses, and non-profits across the state to honor outstanding service to the Alliance and the six Feeding America Food Bank’s serving Arkansas.

CEO of the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, Jeff Quick says Auto Services Company plays an integral role in the Food Bank’s efforts to Build Bridges from Hunger to Hope, including donations of holiday turkeys and food bags, assisting with packing food, helping with Disaster Relief over the summer, and sponsoring Food Bank events over the last decade.

Quick, stated “We are grateful to have such amazing partners in our work. The Food Bank is blessed by the many ways that Auto Services Company has supported our work over the years, and we’re thrilled to be able to recognize their contributions through this year’s award.”

As a part of Thursday’s presentation, the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance announced that Feeding America Food Banks, including the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, distributed more than one hundred million pounds of food in the last year to Arkansas residents. Among the honorees, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders also received an award honoring her contributions to ending childhood hunger in Arkansas.
