Another student in northeast Arkansas is accused of making threats toward a school. The unidentified juvenile was taken into the custody of the Jonesboro Police Department on Friday.

According to a Facebook post from the Valley View School District, three students made a report to administration around 2 Friday afternoon of a Valley View Intermediate student making a threatening statement nearly an hour-and-a-half earlier. The student allegedly stated he was going to shoot up the school.

An investigation was launched by campus administration and school resource officers, and it was determined the student had reportedly made the threat as accused. The officers reported the action to Jonesboro’s Criminal Investigation Division, and the student was transported to the police department for further investigation.
