The Mountain Home Education Foundation will enshrine its Class 2024 into the Hall of Honor on Thursday, and one of the inductees will receive an honor near and dear to him. Tommy Knight will be presented the Bob Knight Bomber Spirit Award.
Knight says he was shocked and honored when he learned he would be receiving the award named after his late brother.

Knight, a local insurance agent, is a life-long resident of Mountain Home and a 1973 high school graduate, and his children later graduated from Mountain Home High School Career Academies. He shares his belief that Mountain Home has one of the best school districts in Arkansas, and he has been proud to continue to be involved and see the local children succeed.

Knight says he is proud to be one of several volunteers for Mountain Home Public Schools and different programs, but he would like to see even more involvement from the community.

The Mountain Home Education Foundation’s Night of Honors is scheduled for Thursday evening at the Vada Sheid Community Development Center on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home.
