An Ozark County man has been arrested for a sex crime that occurred over one year ago. Forty-year-old Robert Dillon Walker of Gainesville has been charged with a felony count of first degree sodomy.
According to the probable cause affidavit from the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, the victim told the investigating deputy Walker had pressured her into a bedroom. She was tending to a crying child when Walker is alleged to have pushed her down on the bed and sodomized her despite her pleas not to.
The victim reported she required medical attention in the days after the incident for injuries sustained following the attack.
Following a court hearing, Walker was released from the Ozark County Jail on his own recognizance. His next court hearing is set for Oct. 29.
