Baxter County’s early voting total went over 10,000 on Tuesday, and Marion County more than doubled Monday’s turnout with the opening of a second voting center.
Tuesday concluded with 1,285 registered voters casting their ballots at First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home. Baxter County’s eight-day total stands at 10,553, making up 34% of its registered voters.
In Marion County, 377 ballots were cast for the first day of early voting at Bull Shoals City Hall. In addition, 331 voters turned out at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Summit, bringing Tuesday’s total to 708. Since early voting began last week, Marion County has had 3,343 ballots cast.
