Following an abnormally dry October, the National Weather Service is looking at the possibility for flooding over the next couple of days. A flood watch will be in effect for Baxter, Marion, Searcy, Boone and Newton counties in north central Arkansas from 6 Sunday evening through late Monday night and for southern Missouri from Sunday evening through early Tuesday morning.

Meteorologist Chuck Rickard from the North Little Rock office says over the next few days, systems of showers and thunderstorms will approach the Twin Lakes Area in waves.
