Last Tuesday, Oct. 29, was the deadline in Arkansas for candidates running opposed in the General Election Tuesday to file their campaign contribution and expenditure report, showing how much money their campaign has taken in, how much they have spent and what they have purchased with their funds. Candidates must list the names of those who gave $200 or more and list expenditures over $100.
In Baxter County, the Mountain Home City Council has two contested races and, although municipal races are nonpartisan, there are sizable donations that have been made to the challengers from a major party.
