The Marion County Office of Emergency Management is urging residents to exercise caution on area roads Monday due to flooding. Multiple county roads are currently underwater, and low water crossings are not passable.
County road crews are working diligently to reopen the affected roads; however, they must wait for the water to recede before assessing any damage caused by the fast-moving waters.
Residents are advised to report any road damages to the Marion County Road Department at 870-449-6021.
As a reminder, the Office of Emergency Management emphasizes the importance of safety: Turn Around, Dont Drown.
