Missouri will be among those taking part on the opening night of the college basketball season. It will be a battle between Tigers on Monday as Mizzou goes on the road for an outing with Memphis.
Missouri is looking to bounce back from last season’s 8-24 season in which they also were winless in the SEC. With a record of 22-10, Memphis could have continued the year into the postseason, but head coach Penny Hardaway announced his team’s season was over after the American Athletic Conference Tournament, and they would decline an invitation.
Tip-off at the FedEx Forum is scheduled for 7. Monday’s game will be broadcast online on subscription-based ESPN Plus.
