Several roads closed in Fulton, Ozark counties

The rains have led to several roads closed in Fulton and Ozark counties.

According to a spokesperson from the Fulton County Office of Emergency Management, portions of Arkansas Highway 395 South and Byron Road are shut down due to flooding. Several other roads are closed including Mount Calm Road northwest of Viola, Fernwood Road east of Salem and French Town Road east of Salem.

In Ozark County as of 8:30 Monday morning, a vehicle flooded out on Missouri Route J at Lick Creek, but all of the occupants are safe. At Bakersfield, the bridges at Missouri Highway 142, Missouri Route AR and Smokey Road (County Road 551) are flooded over, and Missouri Highway 101 has water over the roadway. At Gainesville, the Main Street bridge near Ballpark Road is flooded over, and the Gainesville Fire Department has closed the access to Main Street. In addition, the bridge on Missouri Route T at Mammoth is closed.
